Cole

Few composer-lyricists have achieved the fame accorded to Cole Porter. With many famous characters, their life history is a far cry from the usual public perception of them. Cole Porter is no exception.

COLE is a fascinating biography of the man, told through his music. It tracks his early songwriting talents, his supportive mother, his rebellion against his dominating grandfather, his years through University, his early failures in writing shows (from which he learned many lessons) and culminating in his greatest musical successes.

In the words of the script, "For a composer to write 23 shows and then come up with his masterpiece is somewhat unusual in the history of Broadway."

This is a show for Cole Porter fans everywhere.

An entertainment based on the Words and Music of

Cole Porter
