Mike Stephens

Born in Brinkburn Gardens in Queensbury, Mike has been associated with entertainment in the local area since the age of 10 when he first took part in a school play at Roe Green Primary School.

Mike attended Kingsbury County Grammar School from 1963 and became involved with the school stage crew, helping to build scenery and shift sets and props during the school's regular plays and musical presentations.  He took part in school productions from the age of 17, his first appearance being Sergeant of Police in Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance.

Mike participated in an initiative to create a self-dependant Society, KAOS, that would continue to present musical productions and hence maintain that tradition.

Mike has remained involved with the Society and now his wife and two children frequently join in with the KAOS productions.  He is currently a member of the Society's Committee and works hard to maintain the friendly but business-like atmosphere that ensures that the Society continues to present quality productions to its audiences, many of whom are loyal and return time and time again to enjoy the shows.

Amanda Hutchinson

Also a former pupil of Kingsbury High School, Amanda took part in a wide variety of school productions before joining KAOS whilst still attending the school.

Amanda has been seen in many roles KAOS such as Jeannie in Brigadoon and Hodel, her favourite, in Fiddler on the Roof.  Besides being on the KAOS Committee and previously taken the major role of costume mistress, she has also appeared with and choreographed for other local groups.

Graham Nichols - Musical Director

Graham has produced or musically directed more than one hundred musicals and operas ranging from Grease and West Side Story to Carmen and The Marriage of Figaro.  He has been associated with KAOS for more than 20 years, producing and MD-ing an equally broad range of musicals from Oklahoma! to A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.  Other productions have included A Little Night Music for Shell, and the British premiere of Rags at Spitalfields Market Opera, which Graham also conducted for KAOS in April 1998.
